Don't see only half ! See all of it Above - Below - Beyond, with Dolphin Wild Cruises.

Visit Rottnest Island.

The one place I highly reccomend to visit while you are in Perth is Rottnest Island.
I took my daughter over there years ago and plan to visit with my husband while here in Western Australia.
There are a few choices of ferries to travel over to the Island on from Perth.

It was named by Dutch explorers in the late 17th century for the local animals that they mistook for rats, the island is a must see destination.

The so-called “rats” were actually quokkas — small wallaby-like marsupials that live on the island. You’ll see them all over the place, they're well used to humans, but tempting as it is — please don’t feed them!

A day trip will give you a good taste of the island. 35 minutes by ferry from Fremantle and you land in Thomson’s Bay, the main Settlement.
However if you can spare the time it is well worth having a few days there.
We would like to take our bikes , tent & snorkeling gear to have a fun filled break on the island !

When you get there, check at the visitor’s centre for information about where to go and what to do, guided tours, bus times and so on.

There’s a heap to see and do:
•Take to the water
Go snorkeling •Get active
cycle around the Island•Eat and drink
•Explore the past
•Get close to nature.
